Hennepin History Museum is one of the Twin Cities' most unique social history museums. They offer exhibits, a historic mansion setting, and archival collections.

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts enriches the community by collecting, preserving, and making accessible outstanding works of art from the world’s diverse cultures.

Minnesota Children’s Museum is a community education institution committed to sparking children’s learning through play. Grownups and children from infants to 10 years find a “smart play” environment that challenges children in a fun way.

  • Location: 10 West Seventh Street, St. Paul, MN 55102 
  • Admission: Ages 1-101: $9.50; Free for Museum Members and Children under one
  • Ages: All ages

Minnesota Transportation Museum is actively involved in preserving local railroad, bus and streetcar history. Museum features include the Jackson Street Roundhouse, Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railway, the Minnehaha Depot and the Classic Buses.

Twin Cities Model Railroad Museum  is an exquisitely detailed model panorama of railroads of the Twin Cities during the 1930′s, 1940′s and 1950′s. This was a time when both steam and diesel engines shared the rails.

  • Admission: Museum admission is $6.00. Admission for children under 5 is free. 
  • Ages: All ages

Walker Art Center presents contemporary visual arts and design exhibitions; dance, theater, and music performances; and film screenings. The Walker hosts lectures, classes, and events for visitors of all ages with many of today’s leading figures from the worlds of art and culture.

  • Admission: $10 adults, $8 seniors (age 65+), $6 students, free for members and children (ages <18)
  • Ages: All ages
