Minnesota Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year Award

Congratulations to Maria Singh, a teacher from Pillsbury Elementary School, for receiving the 2013 Minnesota Council for the Social Studies Elementary Teacher of the Year Award! Ms. Singh was chosen from a robust pool of applicants. She was recognized for her ability to bring history alive for her students and the engaging learning environment that she provides for all of her students with her History Ship Project. Ms. Singh, along with two others honorees, will be awarded at the MCSS Gala on Sunday, March 10, 2013.
